What should I know about raising a litter of puppies?

I recently took in a mother and her six pitbull puppies from someone who could not care for them. Looking for advice on what to do since I've never raised puppies before. I already have information about vaccinations and deworming. They're only 2 wks but I'm not sure if I should be doing anything extra to help socialize them and deal with behavioral issues since they're pitbulls. Also, the mom is very thin. I have her on puppy food but not sure if I should be giving her anything extra. I appreciate any and all advice!
