Help my cat is peeing everywhere! how to get him to only use the litter box?

he is a 1 year old male cat who is not neutered he is the only pet we have. and we keep him in our bedroom cuz he is not allowed downstairs. He pees on our bed clothes bags box basically anything he can get to so We started cleaning after every use and worked for a little but it impossible to keep doing that while we are at work or out ....sometimes when I clean it and don't put baking soda in it we would not use it...please help I am tired of changing my bed sheets twice a day
