How can I relieve my cats stress?

I just moved and my cat getting stressed now. She growls whenever I hug or pet her. And she always wants to come out of my room but she has to stay in there when my door is closed because thats where her litter box and food and water are. The first week at the new place she didnt do this. But she startede it about two days ago. She just seems really stressed out. Is there and toys or ways to help her relieve her stress? Please help!
