Is this normal for bunnies?

My bunny Pepper likes to sit in my window sills and sleep or just sit there and watch outside. Is this normal? Also how I need tips for litter training her. She is litter trained while in her cage but when I let her out she just goes everywhere and anywhere. /: Oh and one more question. How do I get her to go to sleep on my lap?
