Suggestions on new lenses like the 50mm 1.4f?

i'm relatively new to all this but i LOVE the pictures this new lens has got me... my EF 50mm 1.4 is like my favorite lens right now and i love the extraordinary depth of field and brilliance... i took a picture of the sunset that looked like a painting, another that looked like a sandals advertisement, and then had some fun with a chain link fence and the bokeh from the night city behind it that looks GREAT as an abstract-ish background on my desktop. is there any lenses you recommend for my t2i if i loved this one? perhaps one without a set focal range? i've been meaning to get into portrait / glamour photography, i've recently been taking pictures of the human form with that dark shadowy chiaroscuro and a red glow about it... i love the artistic side to it all, its beautiful. any other... beautiful lenses?
