Where to get a dog? ohio .?

so im getting a dog this weekend. and i have no idea from where. i know this may sound like a really stupid question but the dog we currently have was from our neighbors dog , because it had puppies. I really dont feel like buying one of the internet because ive heard things. or they may be puppy milled. I live in ohio. I know petland and pick of the litter only 2 stores i know in the mall that sells animals. are there any other stores ? or i also know from the animal shelter. is really safe to get one from there ?

I don't know if my cat has worms!?

I just cleaned the kitty litter box (which is in the basement) and I found 4 very very small dark brown worms that were curled in a U. Not IN the box, but about 2-3 feet away from it. I have read that tape worms are white, so Im assuming thats not what they are....but WHAT ARE THEY? I'm so creeped out and not sure if they are coming from the box or just maybe the basement? Someone help please!!

Road Trip NY to SC on I-81: Things to do?

Going to overnight somewhere, figured Red Roof at Staunton is a good half way mark. I know that there are some Jefferson houses along the way and there's also the Blue Ridge Parkway. Old houses don't seem to interest me and and I don't want to walk too much because of the heat in August. Is there anything specific in the Parkway that might be worth a short detour? Or anything else, like some caverns or crazy UFO and Elvis museum or something.

Yes. Fact is you cannot compare in a sport that's always evolving. Greatest within their era fine, but greatest ever - pointless!! Same goes for any sport that develops - eg. F1 and the cars etc.

Does Schwarzkopf 'Smouldering Red' (L43) take well to unnaturally black hair?

The last time I dyed my hair was about two months ago. So right now it's a dark brown/black. Today I bought Schwarzkopf's Brilliance Luminance 'Smouldering Red' and I was wondering if anyone knew how well it might turn out? I'm a little skeptical, but I have my fingers crossed. I have another black dye on me in case things don't work out too well.

Litter box training a Bichon Poodle?

Hi, I am considering adopting a Bichon Poodle mix. It is a few months old and already house broken. My question is whether it can be litter box trained or not. Has anyone successfully done this with a Bichon Poodle. Has anyone attempted but not been successful?
